Me: How kind of you to ask! Why yes, it is soon - next Thursday, in fact.
You: The 27th. Remarkable! (you are very enthusiastic about life)
Me: Indeed! (I would never say 'Indeed!'...but that's not the point)
You: And how old, my dear friend, will you be turning on this fine day of joy and cake?
Me: 15, my fellow companion.
You: Wonderful, my delightful acquaintance.
Me: It is. But alas! Light has shined on my marble head that it is time to be off! So farewell, my fine comrade!
You: Farewell!
