{I felt like that just needed to be said. But it's pretty obvious}

But it's getting there.

I'm not thrilled with my banner...so I need to create a new one of those.

I'm forever reading posts about modesty and 'wear skirts'

'bikinis are evil'

'shorts above the knee are scandalous'

etc. 

some of them make good points...

but skirts irk me. 

my shorts are. well. shorts. 

we won't get into bikinis now...but I would love to hear

your thoughts on this. 

so the point is, 

why don't we just dress ourselves

in dignity? 

Dignity is something you interpret.

It's not a set of laws.

or even written guidelines.

according to dictionary.com, dignity is...

1. bearing, conduct, or speech indicative of self-respect or appreciation of the formality or gravity of an occasion or situation.

2. nobility or elevation of character; worthiness: dignity of sentiments.

yeah. I know.

This isn't the kind of post I usually do.

well. slow. 

School started last week and it was all I could do to keep from drowning.

Electric Flesh Tones

This is a trend I love...

It's mostly made up of flattering, flesh-tone outfits, punched up

with some bright accessories.

 

I. love. this.

It's soft with small bits of deeper colors.

The pattern of the skirt is fantastic.

And those shoes...

So, you may have figured out by now that SM 'guest posted' on my blog. 

And by that, I mean I had no idea what she was going 

to post. 

She told me she would. 

But yeah. 

You got to see me in full morning glory. 

Oh yay!

I'm not really a morning person. 

Or a night owl. 

I just kind of like my sleep. 

So, she mentioned something crazy we did last night. 

Only she didn't tell you. 

And made something up about me threatening her

{which I didn't}

But I still totally would've deleted...or greatly modified...her post if she did.

This is what we did last night...

We caught a wild cat that has been living under our 

air conditioning unit for the past two 

weeks.

He's now been dubbed toothless {from how to train your dragon - which I highly

recommend}

And has been chilling on our back porch. 

I took more photos...but my poor laptop has seen utter destruction. 

Okay. maybe not utter destruction. 

But one of my sisters closed another sisters finger in between 

the keyboard and the screen...

and the screen was ruined. 

You can't see a thing. 

My poor baby.

So until that gets fixed...I'll be using whatever computer

I can beg. 

I just want my baby! 

Purple ductape, TOMs sticker, and all. 

And I've taken over her blog...mwahahahahahahaha!!!! (aka guest post)

So, this is Sara Maria, Adelyn's older sister. And I have taken over her blog for right now...well, at least the next 20 minutes or so. I thought I'd give you a glimpse at Adelyn when she's not posing for pictures...because I'm her older sister and that's what I do.
