I love that.

I'm forever reading posts about modesty and 'wear skirts'
'bikinis are evil'
'shorts above the knee are scandalous'
etc.
some of them make good points...
but skirts irk me.
my shorts are. well. shorts.
we won't get into bikinis now...but I would love to hear
your thoughts on this.
so the point is,
why don't we just dress ourselves
in dignity?
Dignity is something you interpret.
It's not a set of laws.
or even written guidelines.
according to dictionary.com, dignity is...
1. bearing, conduct, or speech indicative of self-respect or appreciation of the formality or gravity of an occasion or situation.
2. nobility or elevation of character; worthiness: dignity of sentiments.
3. a sign or token of respect.
bearing, worthiness, respect.
yeah. I know.
This isn't the kind of post I usually do.
But it's been on my mind...
and then this came into my inbox.
And not only was the outfit amazing,

Yay! I am the first commenter. Ok so this is what I have to say about that. I agree to a certain point. I don't believe any of the stuff is evil but I do believe there is such a thing as modesty. I like skirts but I don't think wearing pants is bad. Bikini- Whole nother story, but as long as you aren't showing alot of top and alot of bottom you are good. As for the SHORTS... SHORTS ARE SHORTS PEOPLE COME ON! it's just too hot to be wearing jeans and long knee length pants.... PLus they are cute. as long as you aren't wearing them like underwear you are good. But carry yourself as a lady with dignity. Love, live, and laugh.
