my word

I am fully aware that

1. I have not posted for way too long. (sorry about that)

2. It is Thursday not Friday (does anyone else do this? Like all the time?)

3. The 'new year' began over a month ago.

But despite that last one, I'm still going to post about my 'word' for 2010 (and the first month of 2011).

Changes.

If you told me everything that would have happened this year, I would have either laughed in your face and called you crazy or pass out. Let me list just a few of them.

1. A new-ish little sister - Katya. We adopted her from Ukraine and she came home just over a year ago.

2. I would be public schooled. Before this year, I had been home schooled my entire life.

3. My Dad would resign as pastor and our church would close down.

4. Mom is no longer be a stay-at-home mom and is instead runs an after school program.

5. Dad would not be able to get a job so...

6. They explore a job at an international school in Malaysia (we won't know about this until the end of February. eek)

7. We would cut off the internet to save money - hence the lack of posts.

8. We will be selling our house and one of our cars.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some...but these are the ones that first came to mind. So I hope this explains some to you (especially about the lack of posts). I'm planning on keeping my blog up - especially if we move to Malaysia.

One more thing - for my photography class at school we started photography blogs. I don't have much on mine but will periodically be posting from different assignments. {click here to visit)
